Follow these seven steps to move your CIPC-registered domain to Okuhle Digital.
Type the .co.za domain registered through CIPC into the field above, then select Transfer Domain.
Your domain will already be displayed. Select Transfer to initiate the domain transfer.
Confirm that the correct domain is displayed and select Continue to proceed with the transfer.
The free Domain Parking service is added automatically. Review the configuration and select Continue.
Confirm that your Domain Parking service and Domain Transfer are listed correctly, then select Checkout.
Sign in if you already have an account. Otherwise, enter your contact and billing details to submit the order.
Open the transfer-vote email sent by ZARC to the domain contact and select Accept Transfer.
We can assist if you cannot access the registered email address or do not receive the transfer request.
No. A registrar transfer changes the company responsible for managing the domain on your behalf. It does not mean that Okuhle Digital becomes the owner of your domain.
CIPC's domain service provides limited registration functionality. To use the domain for services such as a live website or email, CIPC advises customers to transfer the domain to an accredited commercial registrar.
Yes. After transferring the domain, you can use Okuhle Digital for domain hosting, website hosting, email, DNS management and other digital services.
